For 4 years we have showcased kites at this event, and every year is not only better than the last, but we watch as the impact grows!  The first year it was estimated that we gave away around 300 kites, running out of the supplies we brought.

The next year, and every year after that, around 500. Along the way we have added folks strolling around and flying kites, and more kites to showcase. 

While we love what happens at the event, we also love what happens afterwards. Schools, museums, Scout troops, and other maker events have asked us to come and host kite making workshops for them.
