Kitchen Sink DIY
The liner of breakfast cereal boxes is high density polyethylene. Cut to size. The spars are split garden bamboo stake, the tape and contact cement shown are all from Lowe's. The bridle is fishing line, bow line is from a string level also from Lowes. The line tensioner is a shirt button. The tail was "donated" by the Chesterfield Streets Department. I'll have to show the maiden flight the next post.

Kitchen Sink DIY
This is a fun and easy challenge meant for everyone from a first timer to the experienced kitebuilder. It is simple. Using only items easily found in a common home, build a kite, anything and everything but the kitchen sink! It can be an established design, or one all of your own, the point is simply to build with what you have on hand
